France, Iii Republic. An Order Of Agricultural Merit, Ii Class Officer, Type I Without Year Designation Hold 1930’s Prussian Fireman’s Merit Award(Ordre du Mrite Agricole). Instituted in 1883. Three piece construction, in silver gilt with blue and white enamels, measuring 36. 2 mm (w) x 44. 7 mm (h) inclusive of its integral suspension, chipping evident in the white enamels on the tip of multiple star points on both sides, replacement ribbon, very fine. Footnote: The Order of Agricultural Merit was instituted on July 7, 1883 and awarded for services to agriculture.
