Deuterocohnia brevispicata dormant The leaves are stiffAn unusual terrestrial from the oven like deserts of Bolivia. We collected this plant near the Rio Azio where it grew among rocks with other species of Deuterocohnia, Puya and Fosterella. A handsome plant, growing to about 30in across, with reddish leaves armed with wicked spines. The inflorescence is perennial, and produces clusters of short branches along the 4 or 5ft spike. *Domestic shipping only
