This species is an epiphyte that lives in the moist to wet tropical forests of Indonesia, our specimen originating in Borneo. A compact shrub like plant that superficially resembles Hydnophytum, but without the caudex base. The foliage is borne on slender branches, oblong leathery leaves that are lime green. The flowers are borne in
