Loon - Hooked rug Rug Hooking lash out and sometimes becomeToby Cote Loon Hooked rug in frame with hanging wire 29 x 29 x 2 cm I draw my composition from a reference with a photo I took in Saskatchewan, and then use watercolours to create a colour plan. Then I use a selection of 100% wool fabric that are strip cut to 1 4 widths into a foundation fabric called primitive linen. At times hand dyeing the wool fabric with natural botanical dyes. The wool is hand hooked with a non latched metal hand hooking tool.
