The Cit armchair is one of Prouv's early masterpieces, designed for a competition for furnishing the halls of residence at Nancy's Cit Universitaire. Prouv himself used this armchair in the living room of his house. The chair has a dynamic appearance, with a characteristic coated sheet steel frame and broad leather arm support straps. The belted natural leather strap encircles the chair leg structure on each side
