Framed Chinese Rank Badge Embroidery No. 2 12/22 neoclassical decoration and two loopThis silk embroidery piece is a Chinese rank badge, also known as a "buzi". It features a large peony surrounded by creatures and more flowers. It's nicely framed with an off white mat on a black background with a deep red brown wooden shadow box frame. The frame has Chinese style brass hanger. The embroidered piece is in excellent condition, but the frame has some scratches. We have another piece that is the same size and would make a nice pair.
