Octomore 16.2 58.1% 70cl 60.9 Rich and oilyOctomore 16. 2 58. 1% 70cl Made using the same batch of Scottish concerto barley and malted to the same 101. 4ppm specification as 16. 1, Octomore 16. 2 looks to an array of ex wine and ex fortified wine casks to bring in its sweetly smoky, complex flavour. The whisky started life with Oloroso and Bordeaux maturation, before a finish period in casks that previously held Madeira and Moscatel. Expect caramelised sugar, roasted nuts and honeysuckle
