This 8" x 8 1/4" block tapers towards the front image to 7 3/4" square

which was owned by Bebe and Don Lotz and showcased the tile work of Gila Pottery made by Bob and Charmion McKusick in the 1950's

He had an apprenticeship in the ceramics workshop of Kunow & Drossé in his home town

The 3 3/4" tile had been recently mounted with dark grout into a wood frame making the overall measurements 4 3/4" square and 3/4" deep

This tile shows two cows on one side of a fence meeting another cow on the other side. The black transfer is on a cream colored base. Measures 6" x 6" x 1 2". Good, shiny surface. Scattered flakes around the edges. Artist signature on bottom right.
