Vintage Silver Plated Tibetan Teapot - 1970's Planters Large: W30 x D30 xThis beautiful Tibetan butter teapot is a very good quality reproduction piece made in Nepal in the 1970's. This highly decorative work of art is made from repousse worked metal alloys in the traditional style. It has an elegant handle in the shape of a tiger with a mythical makara beast spout. Makara has the trunk of an elephant, the jaw of a crocodile, the tusks of a boar, and the feet of a lion. It is the tenth sign of the Indian zodiac
