Large Flint Faience Arts and Crafts Tile Horse In the Victorian tradition itThis large Arts and Crafts tile was made at the Flint Faience Tile Company (1921 1933) in Flint MI. Decorated by hand in a squeezebag technique the tile has an interesting geometric BoHo design of interlocking heart shapes set against a dark background. The tile measures 10 1 8" x 10 1 4" and 3 4" thick. It was never installed and is marked with an ink mark of "Spec. A" on the back, an impressed 4 and FLINT FAIENCE & TILE CO HANDCRAFT. The surface is
