Italian Pottery Dish with Sailboats and Anchors by Solimene Vietri tile table A really nice piece ofA really nice piece of vintage Italian tableware. Not as flat as a plate, but with a raised rim described as a soup bowl in its catalogs, it measures 8 1 4" diameter and 1 1 4" tall. Three ships and three anchors decorate the wide molded rim, which lowers onto circular bands of color against a white base. All hand painted, the decor is quite pleasing. The condition is excellent. Solimene Vietri has been producing these designs since after WWII. The
