These are very old pieces (probably early 1800s Georgian to early Victorian) still in pretty good vintage condition

It fastens with a secure push-in box clasp that is hidden behind the end panels

Text is rotated 180 degrees when viewed through an orb as I've attempted to show in picture five

The yellow gold knots and links have a nice ridged texture as well

or can be doubled or tripled as in two of the pictures

This is a classic example of their sought after brickwork mauerwerk jewellery, which used chain construction previously used for watch chains in a new and innovative way for costume jewellery. This is an interesting example with the crenellated bunting style shape and also some engraved , geometric textures on sections of the brickwork.
