Traditionally presented during wedding celebrations, baskets such as this were filled with dried fruits, sweets and nuts before being gifted to the bride and groom as symbols of prosperity, abundance and a fruitful marriage. Crafted from wood with an elegant octagonal form, the basket retains its original handle, allowing it to be carried
