The hand painted central scene depicts a traditional English Thatched Cottage - the central scene is framed by a Duck Egg Blue border which has been on glaze decorated with fine gilding and has been finished with a heavy gilt band terminating at the octagonal border

Threadbears Australia are made by Georgie Threadgould and she has been collecting and making Teddy Bears for approx 25 years

It was documented in 1649 in an inventory of the art collection of King Charles I who had been given it by Sir James Palmer
