Description

translucent

This Aquamarine specimen was mined by Richard Kosnar in the late 1970's and his diggings produced some of the finest color

Here we have a fantastic nearly full-sized thumbnail crystal of Spinel from Mogok

it makes the piece all the more desirable

The gemminess and color make it a worthwhile “toenail” sized specimen of this well contemporary classic material

Prehnite “BOOT”-shaped cast after Anhydrite with Calcite monoclinic translucentA unique and eye catching large thumbnail sized display specimen. The piece has an uncanny resemblance to a BOOT (!) and certainly is unlike any other specimen in the lot. To top it off, the piece is accented with several off white color scalenohedra of Calcite. Good luster on the display side, and a slight coating of a secondary clay mineral on the back. The underside of the piece shows the square cross section of the once preexisting Anhydrite
