Walnut Side Table From Shanxi - 19th Century Kang Tables from the elaborate tiered headdressThis Chinese Walnut topped side table dates from the 19th century and originally came from Shanxi Province. Originally it would have been coated in a dark lacquer, however, over time, this has mostly worn away on the table top to reveal a beautiful Walnut grain covered in a luxurious patina.
