Carved Teak Ganesh Lintel Panel From Madhya Pradesh - 19th Century Bidri Work The everyman in China wouldThis wonderful carved teak lintel has been salvaged from a building that has fallen into disrepair, giving it a new lease of life. It features Ganesh in the central panel framed by two of Lakshmi's elephants. Various layers of colourful paint from many eras cover beautifully carved elephants, birds, flowers and a horse and rider. Some areas of paint have worn away revealing a wonderfully patinaed teak wood beneath. Supplied fitted with wall hangers.
