Berthaut Epoisses AOP, 8.8 oz sampler tangy flavor with a hintby Fromagerie Berthaut. Product of France. Soft ripened cheese from France washed in brine and Marc de Bourgogne. The cheese has a powerful rich flavor with a pungent smell, the pate, a mouth watering taste of sweet, salty and creamy milk flavors. Like many washed rind cheese, Epoisses smells stronger than it tastes. Its flavors are garlicky, fruity, and mushroomy with a hint of barnyard. Suggested pairing: a medium bodied red wine such as Burgundy or
