It is based on the Viola tricolour Commonly know as heartsease, this charming wildflower was the forerunner of the garden pansy. It exhibits delightful variations in petal colouring and patterning in the many flowers carried throughout the summer. This pendant is inspired by the artwork of Caroline Maria Applebee (c. 1799 1854) Very little is known about Miss Applebee,
