Plafonnier Pivotants was developed by Serge Mouille after the success of his earlier floor light, Lampadaire 3 Bras Pivotants. Like many of Mouille's lamps of this era, the rotating ceiling light has a kinetic quality, conjuring a sense of movement. Characterised by its sculptural aesthetic, the lamp features shell like shades and delineated arms. Designed in 1955, the "Araignee" or
