Domaine de la Chevalerie, 'Breteche' Bourgueil, 2017 feed-cl0-Italy 'As Xaras' is the latestA classic, smokey expression of Cabernet Franc from the famed Loire region of Bourgueil. Brooding dark fruit and redcurrant, with earthy notes, smoked red pepper and an almost leathery finish. An incredible wine to enjoy with smoked meats or vegetables. Domaine de la Chevalerie has been owned and operated by the Caslot family since 1640. The original farmhouse still sits at the heart of the operation, alongside massive tuffeau cellars carved into the
