AN UNUSUAL 1940s BEADED BOX PURSE WITH TWIST ROPE STRAP sequin Beads are 1cm diameterThis is a very unusual 1940s square shaped box style evening bag featuring a very intricate arrangement of black seed beads. The beading is arranged in a loosely triangular arrangement, and there is a spectacular double rope twist beaded strap. The frame of the bag is in gold tone brass, with simple stylised horseshoe links for the strap, and an elliptical button clasp. inside the bag opens to a black satin interior comprising of two main compartments
