This was a seven-course menu for $3 per person and some of the dishes were still called by their French names

Illustrated menus were still quite unusual in the early 20th century so this single page menu with the golden crest of the hotel embossed on the top left hand side was typical of the time

Entertainment in the evenings was a huge part of passenger enjoyment and this pretty menu illustration was for a dinner dance with a carnival theme
