At 150mm in diameter, the convex dish shape plays beautifully with the light and demands to be touched, but the insertion of a concave circle is where the magic happens. The centre detail is always mirror polished, contrasting with the main body of the handle and creating an illusion that it is floating within the handle like an orbiting planet.
