A rare and beautifully preserved architectural fragment, this 18th century teak window shutter hails from the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. Hand carved from solid teak, it features intricate jharokha style brass latticework with clear Mughal influences, including scalloped arches and delicate geometric motifs. Its weathered, earthy tones and timeworn patina offer a warm, organic
