This figure is Phra Sri Ariya Metrai, known as The Future Buddha. It should be noted that this Buddha is never depicted with a ushnisha. Buddha sits cross legged with a serene expression and meditative downcast eyes with his hands in dhyana mudra, the palms of both his hands resting on lap, facing upwards. The fingers form a
