Jed Henry - Wolf on the Run Print Naoshi An uncut dark mat boardIt's common knowledge that these stories were partly inspired by Japanese films and design. It only made sense that in returning these characters to an Ukiyo e style, I also pay homage to another obvious source of inspiration: 'Lone Wolf and Cub'. It was also a lot of fun interpreting this sci fi fantasy world through the lens of Japanese steampunk, which isn't actually a thing, but I enjoy pretending it is.
