Isho dansu were made flexible use within traditional Japanese homes with storage for clothes and bedding in mind. This example is beautifully constructed with keyaki (Japanese zelkova) doors and drawers which have a striking bookmatched grain patterns across the sliding doors. The frame is cryptomeria wood.
