J & JG Low Stove Tile of Putti Harvesting Grapes Grueby It measures 6" tall andThis stove tile was made at the J & JG Low Art Tile Works of Chelsea Massachusetts in the late 1800's. The 4 1 4" square tile is 1 4" thick and is decorated with two putti harvesting grapes. Under a blue glaze and rendered in high relief it is uncommon to see one in such good condition. The delicate grape surfaces have just a tiny spot of wear. There is one flake on the top edge. The back has a clear impressed mark. Great gift for a wine lover.
