Lono and the Magical Land Beneath the Sea Hawaiʻi Written by DJoin Lono, a Hawaiian fisherman, as he discovers an enchanted land beneath the ocean waves that is filled with abundant food plants. There, Lono gains the knowledge to grow them for the people of his island home. This story is based on Mary Kawena Pukuis translation of Moolelo Kahiko no Kumuhonua, found in the Bishop Museum Archives.
