airbrushed acrylics (on the background) and white charcoal pencil for the chemistry

I did a heavy brush technique on the background after laying in most of the subject. I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Ironman himself Bob Layton at Wondercon; his table was right next to mine. We hit it off really well and he has been a great mentor to me in years since.
