Description

the lume has faded to an attractive cream/yellow whilst the hour markers are clear (the dial appears to have been professionally refurbished in the past) and the dial is free from major marks or imperfections

The two independent crowns made it possible to wind and set the alarm and timekeeping components of the movement manually

Introduced in 1962

Imbued with French chic – it’s a Cartier

One such result was the introduction of the tuning fork movement

Longines 1st Edition Tre Tacche, Circa 1937 £3000 - £5000 the lume has faded toA lovely example of the Longines 1st Edition Tre Tacche from circa 1937. The Tre Trache (the name deriving from the three notches (Tacche in Italian) to the case back) was designed with two attributes in mind, a steel waterproof case (although not recommended to test this these days!) and a clear and easy to read dial. Even though the case is only 30mm excluding the crown, the dial design makes it a joy to wear and easier to read than many 36mm
