Floral Bloom II sip cup It’s the perfect blend ofThis sculptural piece begins on the wheel, where the base form is created upside down. Once it has firmed up slightly, it is flipped and refined by hand using trimming tools. Because the clay dries quickly, the flowers must be attached with speed, any weak connection can lead to breakage later in the process. Each flower is individually hand cut and pinched into shape, with two ripples designed into every petal. Leaves are also incorporated throughout
