Germany, Der Stahlhelm. A 1931 Commemorative Service Badge, by Der Stahlhof Newly Listed rim numbered 432640 on right(Der Stahlhelm Diensteintrittsabzeichen 1931). Instituted 13 November 1933 by Franz Seldte. (1933 1939 issue). Constructed of silver with enamels, the obverse consisting of a black enameled medallion, overlaid by a raised Stahlhelm insignia, situated above a silvered date of 1931 topped by oak leaves, the reverse with a crimped hinge and tapering vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch emanating from a circular plate, engraved with a unit
