Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with a central German national eagle, the reverse with an inscription of FR RETTUNG AUS GEFAHR, the edge with a silver content mark of 800, measuring 24. 38 mm in diameter, weighing 10. 6 grams (inclusive of ribbon), accompanied by its period original presentation case, constructed of heavy card stock with
