Germany, HJ. A Field Cap GTRexclude On October 5th(HJ Sommer Mtze). An extremely well preserved HJ field cap, constructed of khaki tan cotton. The cap is fully surrounded by stylized side walls which are trimmed along the seam with red piping. Stitched onto the lower peak is an embroidered HJ insignia, measuring 15 mm (w) x 25 mm (h). The interior features a wide brown leatherette sweatband which surrounds the lower edge of the sides, and is fully encompassed by a multi piece golden brown oilcloth
