Commemorative Cross of the Fatherland Ladies Association of the Red Cross (AKA Fatherland Ladies Association for Providing Aid and Care to the Wounded in the War) 1866 1926: Blackened bronze with red enamels, unmarked, 36. 5 mm, original white bow tied ribbon with pinback hanger, intact enamels, extremely fine. Footnote: The Association was established in 1866 by the Prussian Queen (later Empress) Augusta. The Cross was issued in
