Executed in watercolour, the image is a careful reproduction of Swiss artist Anton Graffs classic depiction of the Prussian king, complete with his signature. The image is concealed within a period original frame, decorated through the obverse with irregularly shaped imitation bone tiles. The reverse is lined with period paper
