An exceptionally rare and unique Gold Grade Naval Wound Badge, constructed of hollow die stamped gilded bronze, the obverse consisting of an oval chain link wreath, set around a raised anchor overlaid by crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with a crimped barrel hinge and tapering vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, stamped with a mark of an unidentified manufacturer, measuring 41. 25 mm
