the ship's riggers did their best to tie down the torn fabric to the framework and sew blankets to the ship's envelope while attempting not to fall to the raging seas just below

In silver gilt and enamels, 54. 5 mm x 71. 5 mm inclusive of its wreath suspension, enamel chipping on a few arms on both sides and the reverse centrepiece, very fine. In its hardshelled case of issue, inscribed "JUGOSLOVENSKA KRUNA III." on the lid, maker marked "HUGERNIN FRERES & Co. LE LOCALE Medailleurs (Suisse)" on the inside lid, recessed medal bed, scuffed, case very fine.
