It's a cross between our "Red Ruffled" form of [(lowii x veitchii) x boschiana] and (truncata x veitchii (m)). Like the name states, the female parent produces red pitchers with excellent stripes and a peristome so flared that it ruffles. The male parent is a huge, squat truncata x veitchii (m). Pitchers should be giant and colorful with age. Plants are all seed grown individuals so some variability is to be
