Plants form an upright, bushy clump of green leaves with spikes of soft lavender pink flowers appearing in late summer and fall. Excellent for cutting. Unlike some other selections of Obedient Plant, this one is not inclined to spread quickly, but makes a well behaved clump. Prefers rich, moist soil, and will tolerate wet conditions beside a stream or pond. Easily divided every 3 to 4 years
