Vajra, Barolo Ravera, 2012 SO051325 Ducroux it's a patchwork of parcelsAll roads lead to Vajra, and in 2012 the family bottled this Barolo from the celebrated Ravera cru in Novello, a high, limestone rich site (around 380 meters) farmed with 30 to 60 year old vines. Ravera gives Vajra a more structured, mineral and savory counterpoint to their home vineyards. The 2012 was a balanced, classically styled vintage, neither blockbuster nor light. At well over a decade it has settled into a mature, harmonious window and is
