Germany, Hj. A Proficiency Badge, Silver Grade, By Karl Wurster Newly Listed Instituted 25 April 1834 by(HJ Leistungsabzeichen in Silber). Constructed of silvered feinzink, vertical pinback, the obverse consisting of a Sig rune overlaid by a mobile swastika, in turn circumscribed by an inscription of FR LEISTUNGEN IN DER H. J. (FOR MERIT IN THE HJ), the reverse with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and maker code M1 34 for Karl Wurster, Markneukirchen, measuring 30. 61 mm (w) x 51. 16 mm (h), weighing 14. 6 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
