Reuss, Principality. A Princely Honour Cross, I Class Miniature Republic of obverse centerpiece has initials FJ(Frstlich Reuisches Ehrenkreuz I. Klasse Miniatur). Instituted 24 May 1869 by Prince Heinrich XIV. (1869 1918 issue). Constructed of gilded silver with multi coloured enamels, consisting of a Maltese Cross with white enameled arms joined through the quadrants by stylized rays, the obverse bearing a central red enameled medallion overlaid by a Reuss coat of arms, the reverse bearing a central black enameled medallion overlaid by a monogram of Prince
