Constructed of silvered bronze, the obverse consisting of a first pattern droptail style Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, the reverse with a block hinge and horizontal pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 88 mm (w) x 55 mm (h), wth minor loss of finish evident, an early and high quality example in extremely fine condition.
