Germany, HJ. A 1939 National Trade Competition Victor’s Badge, Bronze Grade, by Ferdinand Wagner United Republic of gold centre crown(Ehrenzeichen Kreissieger im Reichsberufswettkampf). Constructed of bronze with multi coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of a circular laurel leaf wreath, surrounding a white enameled disc, overlaid by a German national eagle clutching a cogwheel, in turn defaced by an enameled HJ insignia, the eagle circumscribed by an inscription of KREISSIEGER (DISTRICT VICTOR) and a date of 1939, the reverse with a raised barrel hinge and vertical pinback
