Constructed of silvered bronze, the obverse consisting of a white enameled background overlaid by a stylized blue enameled bird, topped by a silvered inscription of DEUTSCHER AERO CLUB, perforated with three holes for rivet attachment, the reverse marker marked C. POELLATH, SCHROBENHAUSEN, measuring 118 mm (w) x 67 mm (h), in better than very fine condition.
