In silver, measuring 31 mm (w) x 39. 5 mm (h) inclusive of its integral loop suspension, edge nicks, contact marks, surface wear, original triangular ribbon with hook and eye, well worn and remains fine. Footnote: The Commemorative Medal "for Valour" was created by Prince Nicholas I in 1862 and awarded for "acts of heroism in the 1861 1862 campaign against the Ottoman Empire.
