An Order For Military Merit, Star With Case, C.1880 United Republic of Bristol CountyA finely made and detailed order in Gold with red, white and navy blue enamelled insignia, mounted to silver cross base, unmarked, 57. 2 mm x 57. 5 mm, chipping evident in the red and navy blue enamels, better than very fine. In its hardshelled case of issue, soiled on the inside lid, recessed navy blue velvet medal bed, scuffed exterior, case fine.
